We only collect the data needed to fulfil your booking:

• Name (first and last)

• Email address

• Phone number

• Country of residence

• Booking details: safari, date, number of guests

• Optional message (e.g. allergies, special needs)

We never see or store your card details — payments are handled directly by Stripe.

We use your data solely to:

• Receive, confirm and deliver your booking

• Process the payment

• Contact you before the trip (e.g. weather changes, schedules)

• Retain receipts as required by the Finnish Accounting Act

The legal bases are performance of a contract (your booking) and legal obligation (accounting). We do not use your data for marketing or share it for marketing purposes.

Your booking data is processed by the following services acting on our behalf:

• Stripe (payments) — name, email, payment details

• Google Calendar (booking calendar) — booking details and contact info

• Resend (confirmation emails) — name and email address

• Vercel (website hosting) — technical delivery

Some of these process data outside the EU (United States). Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Booking records in the calendar: up to 2 years after the trip

• Payment records: 6 years (Finnish Accounting Act)

• Email correspondence: up to 2 years

Data is deleted once the retention basis ends.

You have the right to:

• Know what data we hold about you

• Have inaccurate data corrected

• Have your data deleted (where the law does not require retention)

• Object to and restrict processing

• Receive your data in a portable format

The site sets one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your language choice for the session. It does not track you or share data with third parties.

We use no analytics or marketing cookies.

The map embed on the contact page loads content from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings — the map still works.
